20 years ago, March 22 was special because Vardan Tadevosyan, a rehabilitation therapist and lecturer, started his career as the founding director and visited the Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center in Stepanakert. The newly established center needed a person who could assemble his group in a short period of time and train them. 1999 The courses started in May with a one-year program for 12 newly graduated nurses. And since 2000, the treatment program has been launched at the center with outpatients. 2002 The rehabilitation center operates in the system of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh The center was originally called “World Christian Solidarity”, and already in 2005 It was renamed after Caroline Cox on September 12.
Today, we already have an established Rehabilitation Center, which has been able to create a structure for 20 years that provides rehabilitation treatment to thousands of people with disabilities, as well as great work for the integration of children and adults with physical and mental problems into society.
