Autism is a disorder that is affecting more and more people, including socializing, adaptive behavior, and speech development. It is not a separate disease. It is a set of syndromes caused by different causes with different clinical manifestations.
The following three areas are most affected by autism:

A child with autism has difficulty communicating with people around them և establishing relationships. Such children seem isolated, disconnected from reality. They do not communicate with the people around them, they do not talk or play like other children. At the same time they show stereotypical behavior.
There is no one-size-fits-all cure for autism, but appropriate rehabilitation and educational interventions can partially overcome the problem by helping to adapt to the environment, to be independent, to perceive the outside world and the people there.
Q. Over the past three years, more than 40 children with progressive developmental disorders, such as autism, have attended Cox Rehabilitation Center.
Rehabilitation services are provided through the collaboration of multidisciplinary team members. The special attitude of the staff towards the children և their parents, the general friendly atmosphere make the rehabilitation treatment more effective.
Early detection, assessment, early intervention, appropriate care, medical and social rehabilitation of such children, as well as the education of their parents, are the best preconditions for ensuring the social integration and well-being of children.
The staff of the rehabilitation center was very concerned about the increase in the number of children with autism. On May 2, 2017, a day care center with a special autism for children with global developmental delays was opened. More than 60 children receive annual treatment at the center. The specialized center employs children with special pedagogues, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, ergotherapists, social workers, using special methods using a nanny. The center is called not only to treat children, but also to inform parents.
