Bochia Open Championship in Stepanakert in 2017 October 20-22

Society, with all its pros and cons, prosperity and misery, is first and foremost reflected in the field of sports. Involvement of people with disabilities has a special place in sports life. The development of sports for the disabled is very important, as it is a unique opportunity for people with disabilities to communicate with their peers, to integrate, to express themselves, to feel a full member of society. We try to develop sports for the disabled in Artsakh. We actively participate in all disabled sports events organized in Armenia. Every year, the Bochia Open Championship is also organized in Stepanakert. Organizations operating in Armenia are invited. Young people with disabilities being treated at the Cox Rehabilitation Center are involved in a variety of sports. The Bochia Open Championship was held in Stepanakert on October 20-22, with the participation of “Full Life” (Stepanavan), “Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center” (Stepanakert), “Armenian Camp” (Yerevan), “Children of Armenia Foundation” ( COAF) (Armavir) teams. It has a beneficial effect on the nervous system of a disabled person, increasing resistance, developing willpower. The team of the Children of Armenia Foundation took the first place in the team match, the team of the Full Life NGO took the second place, and the first team of the Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center took the third place.
