December 3 is the International Day of the People with disabilities. A quarter of the world’s population is directly related to people with disabilities. The purpose of the day is to inform the society about the issues that concern them. It is the day when people with disabilities, more than ever, remind and speak about their problems which prevent them from full and effective participation in public life.
This class of society usually faces physical, socio-economic and behavioral barriers that exclude their full, effective and equal participation in the life of society.
The Lady Cox Rehabilitation Centre, operating in Artsakh, has been providing its services to people with various physical and mental problems living in Artsakh since the first day of its establishment (September 1998).
All the necessary measures have been created and continue to be created here so that people with disabilities can receive full treatment and integrate into society.
Everyone who has visited the Rehabilitation Centre knows that beyond the walls is a different world, a different atmosphere.
Here everyone is close to each other and people with different problems feel complete here.
And on this special and informative day, their problems and logical solutions should be repeatedly emphasized and raised.
