The Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center has had a home visit department since 2000 that serves people with severe disabilities to receive appropriate in-home care.Home visits are organized for retirees with physical disabilities, severe disabilities and people with mobility problems.The visits take place both in the city of Stepanakert and in the regions of Artsakh.The purpose of the visit is to provide care items, pads, as well as to treat wounds, catheterization, bowel and bladder problems.Marietta Sargsyan, a nurse at the Rehabilitation Center, organizes home visits. She has been doing this responsible job for 22 years, and since 2021, Lusine Galstyan, a nurse at the same center, has joined her.Today, with their direct efforts, they are trying to increase the number of beneficiaries of the home visit department in order to be able to help more people.2000–2020 39,200 home visits were made. This service allows you to pay attention to people with various problems, support them and help them as much as possible.
