Artyom was receiving treatment at The Rehabilitation Centre a few years ago when he was suffering from back pain. And this year he applied to The Rehabilitation Centre for treatment as a wounded man. Artyom Musayelyan is from the village of Sos and was a freshman at the Department of Agronomy at the University of Technology. He left school halfway to fulfill his duty to the homeland as a devoted Armenian. Being a soldier for only two months, he took part in the 44-day war in Artsakh. On October 18, Artyom received a mine wound from an UAV strike in the Varanda region. After being injured, he was taken from place to place for medical treatment until he could be taken to Yerevan. There he was treated at Aramyants Medical Centre CJSC. Artyom returned to Artsakh after undergoing several surgeries and getting rid of some of the fragments left in his body.Artyom continues his struggle today but he does not hesitate to live and create only in Artsakh. He has two jobs as he believes in building a prosperous future while he is still young. Ignoring the 22 fragments in different parts of the body he is already laying the foundations of his new house in his native village.He has been diagnosed with a blast injury, a diagnosis of left ventricular neuropathy. At The Rehabilitation Centre Artyom receives therapeutic physical education, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and the services of a psychologist. His ankle joint movements are missing for which muscles are strengthened, movements are activated, and sensory therapy is performed.In The Rehabilitation Centre Artyom celebrated his twentieth birthday in a warm environment. And each and everyone of us wished him a speedy recovery and the realization of goals under a peaceful sky.
