It has been a month since Ashot Harutyunyan from Taghavard received treatment at the rehabilitation center.During the last war in Artsakh, we heard many times about the heroic struggle of Taghavard village, the resistance of our boys, the successful defense of a part of the village.One of the defenders of the village was Commander Ashot.After 25 years of selfless service to his country, the reserve lieutenant colonel had already retired from the army when the unexpected began.Ashot was on the battlefield during the whole war, at any cost he had to support the homeland, be by the side of his soldiers.In October, the native village was already endangered , both the village and the fellow villagers had to be protected.Ashot assumes the command of the defense of Taghavard, where on October 23 he received a shrapnel wound.He was taken to Muratsan Hospital in Yerevan, where after being in a coma for seven days, doctors managed to save his life.But given his serious condition, it took him seven months to undergo six surgeries to return to Artsakh.Having lost a part of the village, Ashot also lost his house, but did not leave the village, he continues to live with his family in the Kahler part of Taghavard, which was kept at the cost of many lives.Today, she continues her treatment at the Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center, where she has been receiving appropriate treatment for a month to improve her physical condition
