Our boys treated at The Rehabilitation Centre are different in their preferences and worldview. Gevorg is one of the young patients at the Rehabilitation Centre who sees the world as a means of self-improvement, he wants to be in different parts of the world and finally return home with a wealth of knowledge.
Gevorg is from the village of Khnapat in Askeran who came to The Rehabilitation Centre with a gunshot wound to the left lobe of the left side of the brain, with the destruction of the left occipital lobe. Gevorg was a two-month conscript when the war broke out. The 18-year-old, who was just getting acquainted with the military, became a direct participant in the hostilities, after which he was wounded by a cluster bomb on October 21. He was in Yerevan for several months receiving appropriate treatment after which he returned to Artsakh after some recovery.
Gevorg has been receiving treatment at a rehabilitation center since December 2021. Here, to improve Gevorg’s hand, weak muscles are strengthened as well as movements are activated. The maximum is done to quickly restore his physical condition.
Now he is studying computer science and applied mathematics in the third year of ArSU and at the same time he is studying various computer programs. Gevorg has many plans for the future, first he must be fully restored and then focus all his potential of thought and will on the prosperity of Artsakh.
