Our patients

You may all remember this girl in the picture, Asya, who is familiar to us from the home visits, as she has been registered with the Home Visit Department for several years now and has been receiving her diapers. Asya was from Mayramadzor village of Hadrut region and due to the long distance, they could not bring her for treatment.

After the 44-day war, they also lost their village and temporarily live in a dormitory attached to the Artsakh State University, on the fifth floor of which they were provided with one room, where their family of five lives, and the kitchen and bathroom are shared.

Now Asya, who has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, is receiving outpatient treatment at The Rehabilitation Centre.

Every day, the driver of the Centre brings her to the rehabilitation treatment in an appropriate car and takes her back home.

Asya receives the services of a physiotherapist and ergotherapist here.

Let’s hope that in the future their family will be provided with an apartment with suitable conditions and we will be able to provide Asia with more intensive treatment.
