“Howard Karagheusian” medical charitable non-governmental organization and The Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Centre, thanks to their joint cooperation, organized hydrotherapy courses for the children of freedom fighters that died during the 44-day war in Artsakh.
Swimming lessons were organized to support the families of servicemen that died during combat operations, contributing to their children’s healthy physical development and providing them with psychological and social support.
“Howard Karagheusian” medical charitable non-governmental organization selected 40 children based on the results of the in-depth assessment of the needs of the families of the fallen servicemen and the conducted surveys.
The children were grouped into 4 groups, each of which includes 10 children.
The coaches of The Rehabilitation Centre taught the children to swim and introduced them to the different types of swimming as a sport, and interesting water games were organized as well.
Swimming lessons were organized in 2022 from May 2 to October 31.
We are happy to summarize the results of the joint work.
We can confidently consider this program successful and the set goals fulfilled.
