The Affolter method, as the most important method, is the best way to work with the child to achieve the desired result. This method was created by Swiss female psychologist Felicie Affolter, who has worked with Jean Piaget for more than 30 years in Switzerland and the United States. The main idea of the Affolter method is the following: the interaction with the environment in everyday life gives the child the first experience of the world, as it is a rich source of our daily learning and development. But in order the learning and development to become a reality, the child must interact with the world around him, which also happens through the tactile system. The Affolter method contributes to the development of the sensory system, the formation of causal connections, the child’s direct interaction with the environment – the development of hand-to-hand coordination.
