One of the beneficiaries of the Home Visit Department is Artak who after being displaced from Baku in 1988 he settled with his family in the city of Askeran, Artsakh. Artak took an active part in the first Artsakh war with his brother during which he lost his 33-year-old brother in 1993.

Artak got his injury in 1996 as a result of an accident.

Since 2000, he has been under the care of The Rehabilitation Centre and receives diapers and medical supplies from us.

He is married and has three children, two boys and a daughter. His large family lives in a small and dilapidated house. The house is in dire need of repair but so far he has not had the opportunity to repair it on his own or at least to create certain amenities.

Let’s hope that the issue of his residence will be resolved in the future and the Artsakh resident will be able to live in normal conditions.
