Water therapy or hydrotherapy
A favorite therapy of many is treatment with water exercises.
In the water, people become more mobile and learn to control their own body.
The water offers them support and enables them to do the exercises that are more difficult for them to do outside the water. Hydrotherapy allows them to develop many important skills such as mobility, self-control, speech, strength and coordination.
Hydrotherapy is indicated for the following problems: muscle tone disorders (hypo or hypertonus), muscle weakness, body and posture balance disorder, attention, centering disorder, mobility limitation, locomotor system injuries, limb development anomalies, brain and spinal cord injuries, infantile cerebral palsy, autism, mental retardation, postural disorders (scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis), herniated disc of the spine.
